Best Day Ever

Why is it I always get to fly into storms instead of away from them?  So many times, it seems like the very places God is sending me are the most difficult places to get to...both spiritually and physically! And last weekend was no exception. My daughter and I were scheduled to fly to the east coast for some long-awaited family time and some ministry in Pennsylvania. And sure enough, the day we were to leave, the east coast was hit with a severe snowstorm. All flights were cancelled for two days, and the only way to get there was by car. So, we hopped in my car and drove over 2,000 miles roundtrip!  It was grueling but so worth it.

I was able to see family members  and dear friends that I missed and then sang and spoke at Grace Fellowship Church in Shillington, PA.  Grace Fellowship is one of my favorite churches to visit, and I am so thankful for the way the people at Grace always welcome me and allow me to minister with freedom!  Here is the message I preached....THE BEST DAY EVER.
Whether we are headed into a storm, coming out of a storm, or resting from a storm, in Christ, every day of our lives IS the best day ever! :)
