"Remember the name. From Michigan, Jean Watson is a crystal-clear “singer- songwriter- musician” of refinement. A tunesmith of original light- classical folk-art who knows her Celt-gospel craft through and through."

“She does not perform; she shares herself - heart and soul...the space around her felt hallowed.”

beyond the wrapping paper

December has been an abundantly fruitful month for me. I sang and spoke in prisons, churches, a baseball stadium, a coffeehouse, a country club, and on Mackinac Island!  Most folks love Christmas music and ask me to bring familiar carols and some holiday cheer. My favorite part is not the music, however. I love inviting people to think about the mystery of Christmas! People who would not normally think about spiritual things may take a moment to wonder if the familiar narrative about angels, a manger, a…

I have been basking in the peace that flowed from your ministry and the songs on your CDs. Thank you and thank God he uses our brokenness to help others. Awesome!

I happened to be watching TBN and was introduced to your beautiful voice. Stopping to listen to your music, I heard your testimony of how God placed someone (your landlord) in your life to propel you to your destiny. What a wonderful testament to God's greatness! It truly gives me hope that I, too, will reach my appointed place..even at my age. God bless you and thank you for allowing God to minister thru you.

Every now and then there is someone that challenges us to be bigger than ourselves. To take today as a divine appointment with the eternal ....to be the loving arms of Christ to others right in our own home, work, church and community. Not to put off to tomorrow, but live out a daily walk that glorifies God. Jean inspires by lyric, music and example. Praise God!

Turned on my TV and UCB Ireland came up, even though my family and I don't listen to it. Caught the end of a message by Jean which related incredibly to my thoughts and life at that moment! A beautiful message, a big answer to prayer, very encouraging and can't wait to hear more :)

Hello Jean. It is good to see your ministry being so fruitful and poignant in touching the lives of those seeking Christ and His healing. I wish that I could have seen you in Ireland. I'm sure that it was a blessing to all hearts and a beautiful experience for all to be involved with. I'm sure that your serving as an instrument for Christ heals so many hearts and souls on many levels. Wishing you all the best in your steps to be faithful both now and in the coming season of His Love for us. Cassie says, "hi". Brian
